Love...Monday Moment

When you think of February, Valentine's Day might come to mind and then that might lead you to the topic of LOVE. Awe, the topic of love! Let me share with you a few of my loves, apart from the obvious God, husband, kids, parents, family and friends.

I love peace and quiet and the smell of coffee (coffee breath not as much:)).
I love being caught up with my household chores.
I love watching movies with my kids on the couch.
I love the little moments I get with my kids one-on-one at bed time.
I love crossing things off my list (I'm a big list person...got that from my Dad:)).
I love Spring (hurry up!).
I love all the baby animals in the spring.
I love the feeling after a good workout or run (not so much the I'm dying feeling in the middle).
I love to laugh and watch comedy (I about rolled out my chair the other night laughing at the movie Tommy Boy...I'm sure that dates me for the younger generation:)).
And, last but NOT least, I love sharing special moments with others through my photography! The families I photograph make this job such a joy! THANK YOU:)

Another successful family session in my new studio! I really enjoyed photographing them and we got some pretty images too. Sometimes photographing toddlers can involve a little (or a lot in some cases) negotiation skills:) She did great though and we were done in no time! I personally loved the one of Mom and Dad together. Sometimes after the kids come, we as parents forget to be photographed as a couple. Ornate Frames...Product Showcase

Today's product showcase are the Ornate Frames that I offer from The Organic Bloom. I just love this company. I started selling their frames in 2010 when they first started and I have really enjoyed their product and I know my clients have too. It started with a husband and wife team and they quickly grew out of their space and increased their personnel too. I love that they are somewhat local as they are located just one state away in Broken Arrow, OK. The frames are handcrafted and painted by them and come in a variety of shapes and styles (single, double, or twin) and many color combinations. They come ready to hang (more on that topic soon) and are a premium product. They are just beautiful and create a whimsical touch to any room. You can pair several frames together to create a story or one large frame over the mantle to make a statement!

Mommy and Me...North Central Kansas Photographer

What a perfect little model this little girl was! I just loved her expressions. I enjoyed photographing her and her Mom so much. The morning was a tad chilly on this late October morning but it was so pretty with the fall colors gleaming in the sunlight. Fall beauty is fleeting and I feel you have to have a little bit of luck to catch it before the wind decides to blow those beautiful colors away! We had some really pretty fall days this year. I am hoping for an early spring, I think I am already done with winter. Perhaps I shouldn't say that since we have at least a good two more months of it:) Would you like to schedule a session?
