The T Family...Kansas Family Photographer

What a fun family! I really enjoyed getting to know them:) I am sure that their daughter is going to be a wonderful big sister...what a little sweetheart! It was a little chilly and a touch cloudy on the evening of our session in December but they were troopers. We ventured into my favorite pasture on the farm and I'm hoping to shoot up there some more this year! I hope you enjoy a few my favorites!

The B Family...North Central KS Photographer

What an adorable family! I loved the colors in their outfits together and her little scarf! Although, I wish their little girl had felt a little better on this day, we were still able to get some happy expressions since I only need a fraction of a second (1/800th in some of these!). SO, almost like magic, I can capture those brief smiles, side glances, and snuggles without stopping the motion. I love it when families come ready to love on one another and to play! Who doesn't want a photo of their family with a sincere look of love all over their faces?! I love the photos where Mom is snuggled in with her kids in a soft embrace or where Dad's hand is resting on a little shoulder. The images that make you stop and think about what they are feeling are the moments I love to capture. Of course, I love the images where everyone is looking and smiling too but I love connection even more:)

Miss H...2 years old...North Central Kansas Child Photographer

She was so perfect for her two year old session that I just wanted to keep her:) I guess my little guy has my expectations all twisted and I am usually prepared for a lot of "NO" during a session with two year olds. Don't get me wrong, they are lots of fun and give some very genuine and real expression (which I love), but sometimes it just takes a little longer to get the expressions I am wanting. Not with this little cutie...she was a rock star! LOVE HER:) Thanks for looking:)

It was a cold and windy December day in Kansas, and what better place to hide out and capture their anticipation of a new baby boy, than in the barn with their beloved animals:) The horses, dogs, and cats all wanted in on the action. I hope you enjoy:)
