Sweet Baby B...8 days old...Kansas Newborn Photographer

I really love sleepy babies for most of my newborn poses because they are easier to move and mold, but eye contact from a newborn baby is so magical and I enjoy that too. This little guy was pretty alert and happy most of our session. He did manage to grab a few cat naps during our time together for some sweet sleepy shots as well.:)

Babies are such a blessing and I am so honored each and every time I get the call to photograph them in their first few days! I love this verse from James 1:17. Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.

Thanks for looking:)

Little Miss K....5 days old...Central Kansas Newborn Photographer

I really enjoyed working with these sweet girls. Big sister is around 17 months old and she did great! I kept thinking how my son would do and I'm PRETTY sure he wouldn't have been near as cooperative...haha. I hope you enjoy a few from this recent session:)

The D kids....Central Kansas Child Photographer

We had a little Valentine fun for this session:) What kid doesn't like Valentines Day and candy? I don't know of any:) I can't believe little mister is already 6 months old and big sister is 5 years old! Enjoy a peek into my recent session with these adorable kids:) And a little back story on his little pants. I made them out of a sweater and if you can believe it (I can't)...they FIT!! As some of you know, I try to knit and crochet and craft from time to time and I have a heck of a time getting my sizing correct:) SO...I was pretty ecstatic when these little babies fit! Small victories really make my week/month/year:) Thanks for looking:)

Miss M...6 months old...Central Kansas Baby Photographer

I love all the baby stages for different reasons but I really enjoy my 6-9 month olds! They are so expressive and excited about their new ability to sit, roll, find their toes, and whatever else they've discovered how to do:) It is so much fun to see them grow too! Many of my newborns come back and see me every few months and we are pretty tight by the time we are photographing their year session! I LOVE IT! Hope you enjoy a few from my session with this adorable little girl! Thanks for looking:)

Sweet Baby E...8 days new...Central Kansas Newborn Photographer

Newborns are just so special to photograph. They are only a small size for a very short time. The days may seem long in the beginning when they prefer your arms over the crib, or fall asleep in your arms without a care in the world while the housework stares back at you. I have often struggled with the balance of being a caring mother and keeping my home clean and running, and running a business at the same time. Photographing these sweet little subjects reminds me of how small my babies were when we brought them home from the hospital. It takes me back to the birth of our first born and I realize that I need to try harder each and every day to BE HERE for them and not just with my presence. At the corporation I used to work for before we had our first baby, they had a motto to "BE HERE NOW" and it still sticks with me today as I apply it to my relationship with my children...to BE HERE NOW for them:) Thanks for looking:)

Expecting...Central Kansas Maternity Photographer

It was a cold and windy December day in Kansas, and what better place to hide out and capture their anticipation of a new baby boy, than in the barn with their beloved animals:) The horses, dogs, and cats all wanted in on the action. I hope you enjoy:)

Beautiful winter evening...7 years old...Central Kansas Child Photographer

It is rare that there is snow on the ground but the weather is nice enough to not need a coat! We took advantage of it and had a great time! I apologize for keeping this so short and sweet but it is more about the images anyway, right?:) Hope you enjoy:)
