It's been just a few months since our visit but, hey, better late than never is what I say! Some of you probably remember me telling you about my cousin and his family who were on the popular "Fixer Upper" TV show. They are a pretty big deal! I mean I'm practically famous just being related to him, right? I think so...haha. Anyway, they were super cool before the show but now I'm sure they get a little more attention than before especially since they still live in their "Fixer Upper." I've heard they get quite a few "Looky Loos" driving by their place. They rent out their "Fixer Upper" when they go out of town so others can experience the magic around the work Joanna and Chip do.  If you're interested, I'm sure I can hook you up to their Airbnb link! Anyway, I'm getting rather windy on this post so I will get to the pictures...I could share so much more about these wonderful people but will leave that for another time.

A mom and her babes...Kansas Family Photographer

My beautiful friend and her beautiful children on a beautiful fall evening. Sometimes a farmer's schedule during harvest time just does not line up well for family pictures and I was so glad my friend decided to go ahead and be in the photos with her kids and not just take pictures of the kids by themselves. I have been on a kick lately to capture memories for each child with their parents. I don't always get to this during a session, depending on how things go, but each child has a unique relationship with their parents and someday down the road I think it will be very special to them.
