A mom and her babes...Kansas Family Photographer

My beautiful friend and her beautiful children on a beautiful fall evening. Sometimes a farmer's schedule during harvest time just does not line up well for family pictures and I was so glad my friend decided to go ahead and be in the photos with her kids and not just take pictures of the kids by themselves. I have been on a kick lately to capture memories for each child with their parents. I don't always get to this during a session, depending on how things go, but each child has a unique relationship with their parents and someday down the road I think it will be very special to them. I hope you enjoy a few of my favorites from our session:)

Mommy and Me...North Central Kansas Photographer

What a perfect little model this little girl was! I just loved her expressions. I enjoyed photographing her and her Mom so much. The morning was a tad chilly on this late October morning but it was so pretty with the fall colors gleaming in the sunlight. Fall beauty is fleeting and I feel you have to have a little bit of luck to catch it before the wind decides to blow those beautiful colors away! We had some really pretty fall days this year. I am hoping for an early spring, I think I am already done with winter. Perhaps I shouldn't say that since we have at least a good two more months of it:) Would you like to schedule a session? I really enjoy the morning light...you just have to get up early for it:) It works great for little ones and their schedules usually and so we planned this session around baby sister:) Babies usually wear the pants in the family anyway...right?!:) We had a pretty morning to work with and these girls were just so cute! A beautiful morning in September couldn't have been more complete than capturing this mother and daugther together. They are just adorable and so sweet.
