Mr. J...North Central Kansas Child Photographer

My last session of 2014 was with this little cutie! It is hard to believe that he is a big one year old now! We celebrated his one year milestone session with some cake, which required a little cleaning up afterwards so he got to play for a second in a little bath:) I hope you enjoy a few of my favorites!

I am scheduling sessions for spring and summer, please contact me today to schedule your session:)    Thanks for looking:)

The E boys...Kansas Child Photographer

They might just be the cutest little cowboys that I ever did see! We had such a fun little session to capture these two at age one and five! We were all smiles until we put them together...brotherly love...haha:) Thanks for looking:)

The G Family...North Central Kansas Family Photographer

I just adore this family. They are another one of my long time clients. I have photographed the two younger girls since they came home from the hospital:) What a joy it has been to watch them grow. The evening that we took these photos, the light was fading behind clouds quickly but it gave a neat dimension to their photos. And, although you can't see the mosquitoes in the pictures, they were definitely there and trying to eat us. If you have seen the birds in The Croods movie that devour every living animal in their path, that is the way we felt...haha. When we first got there, we went out into the alfalfa but quickly retreated back to our vehicles until I could locate some bug spray! And even then, that didn't stop them. It was bad. BUT, despite the bugs and the light quickly fading we made the best of a short and sweet session and even got Dad in a few:) The focus was on a family shot, kid shot and then two year photos of little B... hope you enjoy! Thanks for looking:)

The H Family...Newborn...North Central KS Newborn Photographer

I must say that I love my clients! I really enjoyed meeting their new little one and I loved being able to come and photograph him in his new surroundings as well. I feel it brings a personal touch to the photos that will be treasured for many years to come. I still love my studio work for a very clean and classic look, but to get those personal backgrounds in the images, it is nice to be in the home as well. I am kind of surprised that one year old brother didn't show up as a blur in most of the photos as fast as he was moving...haha. It is probably a good thing I brought my strobe along:) I hope you enjoy a few of my favorites for our session! Thanks for looking:)

The B Family...North Central Kansas Family Photographer

I love photographing this family:) We were high school classmates and friends and went to the same college and have remained close throughout the years. What a blessing to have such long-time friends! I treasure our friendship and am so honored that she has asked me to capture memories of their family. For this session, I traveled to their country home. They showed me all their favorite spots to play and we had a ball. I hope you enjoy a few images from our time together! Thanks for looking:)

The D Family...North Central Kansas Family Photographer

What a fun evening it was with this family. We had a good time bouncing from the pasture to a corn field and back to the garden. We almost didn't make it to the corn field because the mosquitoes about devoured us within a matter of minutes in the pasture. Luckily, we survived and were able to locate some deet and ward them off a little. We captured one year photos for their little man. He loves tractors:) I hope you enjoy a few of my favorites from our session! Last frame of the evening and possibly my favorite:) It was getting dark and he was going to get dried off...Mommy love:) Thanks for looking!

The D Family...North Central Kansas Family Photographer

What a sweet family! I've had the pleasure of photographing their little one since she was just a few days old. I really enjoy getting to know my families and I finally got to meet the Dad this time for a family session. We had a beautiful morning to work with and I met them on their beautiful land. It has so much character and fun history to go with it too. I always like to use locations and props that are meaningful. I hope you enjoy a few of my favorites from our session! Thanks for looking:)
